Viegand Maagøe awarded global green transition projects
For the next 3 years Viegand Maagøe will assist the Danish Energy Agency in sharing Danish know-how to achieve a better, faster global green transition.
In consortium with COWI, EA Energianalyse and DTU Viegand Maagøe has been awarded 5 out of 6 framework contracts for Consultancy Services to the Danish Energy Agency’s Energy Country Programs and Projects from 2020-2023.
As a result, Viegand Maagøe will be part of the Danish Energy Agency’s Global Cooperation effort for the next 3 years, sharing Danish green transition experience with countries around the globe.

Leading energy efficiency
The Global Cooperation effort works out of countries like Mexico, Vietnam, Ukraine, China and the USA. The 5 contracts each cover a global theme:
- Energy planning and modelling
- Renewable energy integration
- Offshore wind development
- Energy efficiency
- Climate change mitigation planning and modelling.
Viegand Maagøe is lead on the Energy Efficiency contract and partner on the other contracts.
