Spreading awareness about EUDP allotment
Reference: EUDP (The Danish Energy Agency)
How do you spread awareness amongst potential applicants for the allotment by The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme (EUDP)? Through social media and great stories.
Viegand Maagøe has i.a. put EUDP on LinkedIn and produced several cases.
How we completed the assignment
EUDP wanted 3 different communications activities from Viegand Maagøe’s screening of EUDP’s communications setup to spread awareness about their allotment.
- Industry mapping
We mapped all relevant industries and held conversations with them about spreading messages and knowledge from the EUDP. It created an overview of industries and companies that were particularly relevant for EUDP. - LinkedIn business page
Viegand Maagøe helped EUDP creating a LinkedIn page and managed it for a period of time. The site spread awareness of EUDP among potential applicants and created contacts and networks that could convey EUDP to the target group. The site also strengthened EUDP’s visibility for political decision-makers. - Cases
We produced 10 cases with EUDP projects for use on EUDP’s website, LinkedIn, press work and presentations. Each case consisted of text, images, infographics and a series of short video sequences.
Results
EUDP got a good overview of which industries the potential applicant companies are in and who they should contact in order to enter into a dialogue with the target group.
The LinkedIn page gave EUDP a completely new platform to reach companies, politicians and other stakeholders.
The 10 cases gave a clear picture of how EUDP makes a difference. The cases show how EUDP contributes to the green transition and at the same time creates growth in companies.
