Career at Viegand Maagøe

At Viegand Maagøe, we have been dedicated to the green transition since 2006, with a shared commitment to creating holistic solutions.

The green agenda is our mission

We work across disciplines to develop sustainable solutions because real impact requires diverse perspectives.

Our everyday life

Enjoying time together

We prioritise projects and cross-functional collaboration, and it always works best when you know each other! That's why teamwork is important for our success at Viegand Maagøe.

In addition to this year's Christmas lunch and summer party, we also arrange social gatherings such as a joint breakfast every Friday and a Friday bar on the last Friday of each month.

Flex out when it suits you

Flexibility is a natural part of our everyday work life. We offer the option to work from home, and all employees have a flex account. This allows you to organise your working day in a way that fits with everything else that matters in your life.

During busy periods, you have the opportunity to put in extra hours on projects, which means you can take time off during quieter periods.

We recognise that life comes in different phases. If it suits your current situation to take leave or reduce your hours for a period, that option is available to you as well.

Our values in everyday life

With our mission to drive the green transition at the core, we stand by four core values:

Holistic

Our solutions are shaped by a holistic approach to both our work and everyday life. We believe the best results come from interdisciplinary collaboration. That is why we listen, ask questions, and stay curious for the benefit of our customers and each other.

Proper

We want the best for our customers and colleagues, because we genuinely care. That is why we take each other seriously and act with trust and confidence that every task, challenge, and relationship will be handled with respect and integrity.

Professional

Strong, wide-ranging and in-depth professionalism is at the core of our work. That is why we prioritise the development of our skills and experience, so we can be the sharpest experts and together create the best and most innovative solutions for our customers.

Sustainable

Every day, we work towards a more sustainable world together with our customers. That is why we nurture an appreciative, inclusive and flexible working environment. It allows us to maintain balance and move forward together, side by side and hand in hand on the journey towards sustainable transformation.

Working in a consultancy firm

Everyday life in a consultancy is a little different from many other workplaces. First and foremost, you work for a client, which means you are required to register your hours to their project. The number of hours allocated for each task is fixed from the outset, so it is important to stay focused on delivering the right solution.

At times, you may need to visit clients to run workshops, observe production processes or attend status meetings. This could involve train journeys across the Great Belt, from north to south, or even all the way to Brussels.

Most consultants are involved in several projects at once. This brings a variety of clients, needs and solutions. You need to be able to adapt quickly when switching between meetings or moving from one type of task to another. Occasionally, deadlines overlap, and in those moments, you must be ready to deliver for more than one client at a time.

We understand how important it is to feel settled and at ease when starting a new job. That’s why we put a strong focus on creating a supportive onboarding experience.

From day one, you’ll have the essentials in place, like your computer and phone, and a clear introduction plan to guide you through your first days. You’ll also be assigned a buddy who’s there to help with both the big questions and the small everyday things.

To give you a full picture of how we work, you’ll be invited to introduction meetings across all departments. And through regular 1:1 meetings with your manager, we make sure you’re settling in well and that expectations are aligned.

Your path at Viegand Maagøe
