Energy- and climate audit

Get help with energy and climate audits that create value for you and that also meet legal requirements. We have been approved by the Danish Energy Agency to perform audits.

Energy audit and climate audit for optimal operation

With many years of experience in optimising operations in manufacturing companies through - among other things - energy audits , our goal is always more than to simply meet the legal requirements. We believe that it is about creating real savings through increased efficiency.

We therefore always have energy optimisation and process optimisation in mind when we perform energy audits or climate audits. The work is based on knowledge of your company as well as close cooperation with you to achieve the best results.

The results can often form the basis for your optimisation strategy and set the direction for how you invest in improvements in the future.

There are also other options for optimising than through energy audits and climate audits. Depending on your specific wishes, we draw on a number of different in-house expertise, such as experts in machine learning and sustainable buildings.

How we help you through the process

We have been approved by the Danish Energy Agency to carry out energy and climate inspections and can help your company all the way from the initial clarification to reporting the inspection.

When are energy audits and climate audits mandatory?

What your company is obligated to do depends on your annual energy consumption:

  • Energy consumption over 10 TJ (approx. 2,800 MWh)
You are obligated to conduct an Energy Audit and a Climate Audit every 4 years. Alternatively, you can choose to introduce environmental management in combination with an energy review and data analysis.
  • Energy consumption over 85 TJ (approx. 26,300 MWh)
You are obligated to implement energy management and conduct a climate audit.

The rules originate from the EU Energy Efficiency Directive and entered into force on 1 July 2024. They replace previous requirements for Energy Audits for large companies. The new rules also introduce requirements for the publication of action plans for energy efficiency and CO2 reductions.
